Doing lesson plans take more thought than I expected. Grading papers, lesson plans, counseling students and all of it, is way more than I bargined for. Having said all of that, I really do enjoy it. I see why teachers say they are underpaid. I support their every effort to get more money!

Summer thankfully has come and is almost gone. Fall and winter are my favorite seasons. I bake, I cook, I relax more. 64 degrees sounds like heavenly weather to me. Perfect weather for my new socks!! I love sweatpants and ratty T-shirts and a good book in the sunroom. I don't read as often as I used to but hopefully fall will bring back the desire1vlb5757https://www.blogger.com/profile/05444876262831798051noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21832089.post-30718099877369073472007-08-25T15:01:00.000-07:002007-08-25T15:01:00.000-07:00What a pretty sock. Are you in an area that has been getting the extreme heat?

It is 64 degrees right now, & Yay, the sun is coming out - some friends are having a big BBQ aniversary party, complete with a band - hope the rain goes far away so we don't all have to squish into their house...

Have a good weekend, and hopefully some "jean time" :-) T.Tina T-Phttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13054132355737998706noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21832089.post-54109702737345268112007-08-25T03:18:00.000-07:002007-08-25T03:18:00.000-07:00Good! I know my superwash wool socks are still going strong but I have only done one other pair of cotton blend socks and they aren't the right size. I messed up on them so I just wear they with no shoes. They keep falling down so I will have to use less stitches at the top ribbing. I use 1s already so it will have to less stitches. I love the way the yarn feels and I loved the colors. I might have to order me some more but I still have all that other sock yarn stored away that I need to use. So much sock yarn, so little time...vlb5757https://www.blogger.com/profile/05444876262831798051noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21832089.post-3750413078877477012007-08-24T12:52:00.000-07:002007-08-24T12:52:00.000-07:00I'm on my third pair of socks made from On Line Su...I'm on my third pair of socks made from On Line Supersocke Cotton. Not only do they hold up well in the washing machine, they also can go in the dryer. My first pair is a year old, has been machine washed and dried numerous times and still looks like new. Love this yarn!Tracy Batchelderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18137536258043194796noreply@blogger.com
